Yes, Google finally remembers AndroidOne users and its Android 5.1 and major bugs of Indonesian Android 5.1 are solved. The LMY47I Build is pretty stable. And, now the lollipop kernel sources for mediatek MT6582 are out too.....So, that a good news too....One can find it HERE
Work on CM12.1 has begun by the great varun.chitre15 and hope to see it in a few days. Till then, fingers crossed!!
There kernel 3.18 available too. Its a mystery what is its use. Maybe for Android M. Only God & Google knows!!!
Its not the OTA given to the Indian AndroidOne users but its official Android 5.1 running out of the box on indonesian AndroidOne.
The fact is that it runs well on Indian AndroidOne and is quite stable.
Finally, the official announcement came after the launch of AndroidOne in Indonesia with Android 5.1 that Indian AndroidOne users would get Lollipop (Probably 5.1) in the coming weeks...
Now, why this news is special because the current devices run the latest release Android 5.0.2 (even NEXUS), and AndroidOne might get it even before NEXUS.
Thus, THE WAIT IS OVER
